More than 1200 members of Palm Oil Industry were present at the PORAM Annual Dinner 2009 held on 24 October 2009 at the One World Hotel.
The event was graced by the presence of Yang Berhormat Tan Sri Bernard Giluk Dompok, the Minister of Plantation Industries and Commodities, who was guest of honour at the dinner.The event was also attended by captains of various palm oil companies and organizations.
PORAM was proud to announce the 20-year Membership award which was presented to Ngo Chew Hong Oils & Fats (M) Sdn. Bhd.Awards of Appreciation were also presented to Pacific Inter Link Malaysia being this year’s Titanium Sponsor, Sime Darby Plantation Sdn Bhd and Bursa Malaysia Berhad as Platinum sponsors.
While members of the industry took time to network, the dinner guests were also entertained by Malaysia’s biggest and phenomenal singer and the winner of Anugerah Industri Music (AIM) 2007, Siti Sara
